The formation of anti-corruption culture among youth

The meeting between Academy’s students, curators, teachers and representative of the Agency for civil service and anti-corruption was held on 14 November 2018.

The theme of the meeting is the formation of anti – corruption culture among young people.

The speaker was a chief specialist of management of public service of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for civil service Affairs and anti-corruption in Astana Alan Isakul.

He spoke about the methods of combating corruption used in Kazakhstan’s anti-corruption system. He also noted that corruption in modern society is a direct threat to the security and economy of the state, as it can undermine public confidence in the system of public administration. In order to avoid the rooting of this phenomenon in the modern Kazakh society, it is necessary to take such measures that have contributed to the consolidation of anti-corruption culture in its consciousness and mentality.

During the speech, the audience was presented a video about the work of the anti-corruption system in Kazakhstan. The participants of the meeting asked questions concerning the functioning of the anti-corruption service, the work of the helpline on corruption.
