Talent of Gulfairuz Ismailova

The Kazakh national academy of choreography held a round table dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Gulfairuz Ismailova- the Honored worker of culture, artist of theater and cinema, whose work was awarded with state awards, orders and medals.

At the round table, organized by the Department of Art history and Art management of the Faculty of Arts, such topics as the history of life and creative activity of Gulfayruz Ismailova were considered. Students talked about the work of the People’s artist, which is a bright page in the history of fine arts of our country. A wide range of interests Gulfairuz Ismailova, which includes painting, theater, cinema and music speaks about her special talent, original and extraordinary gift of the Creator. As part of the round table, students demonstrated her artistic works and excerpts from films with her participation.

The teacher of the Academy, theater critic, author and presenter of a number of television programs about the ballet art of Kazakhstan Flura Borisovna Musina shared her memories of Gulfairuz Ismailova. Recalling the joint work with Gulfairuz Mansurovna at the Abay theatre, she noted not only the multifaceted talent, but also a delicate artistic taste, a sense of color, bold experiments in search of color harmony, which are perfectly reflected in the writing of jewelry and precious stones by the People’s artist. All this gives her numerous still lifes a unique brilliance of talent.

The informative round table was another proof that Gulfairuz Ismailova’s rich creative heritage is an example of spirituality and tireless work for future generations.
