«Slow fire», love and passion of dance will get the audience of the capital city from a Brazilian choreographer
An incredible gift to the beautiful half of mankind on the international women’s day was prepared by guest choreographer of the «Astana Ballet» Ricardo Amarante. The program «The evenings of Love», which will be held in the theater on March 9, included the best ballets of a Brazilian director, which can awaken all the best in a woman – from tender and romantic feelings to seductive and exciting passion.
According to the choreographer himself, this evening will be unforgettable and will turn the view of the metropolitan public about love and relationships.
«Love can be different – passionate and enthusiastic, selfless, tender and warm. It can not be understood or touched, but it can be let into your heart and admire the external and internal changes that she gets up with us. And, speaking about love, we must first of all talk about the beautiful half of humanity, in which this love lies from birth. Without lovely ladies, men would not know about this wonderful feeling. That’s what my ballets are about» – shared Ricardo Amarante.
The evening program included two graceful and at the same time sensual productions «A Fuego Lento» and «Love Fear Loss», which were originally set for the Royal Ballet of Flanders, now are part of the repertoire of the «Astana Ballet». The premiere of these one-act ballets, which were well-known to the metropolitan public for a long time, took place on the stage of the Moscow theater at the end of 2016 and became an unforgettable event for those who appreciate modern choreography.
In the production of «A Fuego Lento» the choreographer tells about the first feelings of love and desire that burn a person from the inside. According to Ricardo Amarante, in each scene of this passionate ballet, emotional intensity is felt, dressed in seductive rhythms of sensual tango.
The second, no less sensual and surprising ballet of this choreographer, «Love Fear Loss» is based on the real and tragic history of the French singer Edith Piaf, who happened to experience strong feelings of love and survive the sudden death of her beloved.
The main surprise of «The evenings of Love», said Ricardo Amarante, will be the new neoclassical production “Silent Voices” to the music of String Quartet No. 14 in D minor “Death and the Maiden” by Austrian composer Franz Schubert.
«With the help of plastic language means I want to tell about the voices that a person hears inside. Using the expressive capabilities of the performers’ bodies and the original lighting solution, we will try to show the viewers of our invisible interlocutors who convey an inner emotional state, a person’s experience, confusion or fear, hope or doubt. We have created an organic, emotional and informative, and at the same time, rich dance drama», – said the director.
A nice addition to the rich program will be the showing of a fragment from the national performance «Alem» to the music of Armand Amar, which was staged at the theater «Astana Ballet» in 2014 by Russian choreographer Nikita Dmitriyevsky.
The press service of the theater noted that on March 20, the theater is expected to have another equally interesting and intense festive program dedicated to the spring equinox «Nauryz» – «The heritage of the great steppe», which will include the best national miniatures of the choreographer-director of the «Astana Ballet» theater Aigul Tati.
