Nurlan Kanetov performed one of the main roles in the ballet “Golden Horde” in Kazan

On July 10 and 11, the Golden Horde performance took place on the stage of the Tatar State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Musa Jalil!

The ballet tells of the times of the powerful and rich Golden Horde … there are battles, colorful feasts, and a love triangle. The main characters of the play are Toktamysh – the Khan of the Golden Horde, his adviser Vizier, Murza – the invincible commander of the khan, the girl Janik – the daughter of the khan Toktamysh and the boy Nuradin – the son of the commander Murza, who grow up and are brought up at the khan’s court.

Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, Laureate of the Soul of Dance Prize, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Dean of the Faculty of Choreography of our Academy Nurlan Ismagulovich Kanetov presented on stage one of the main and key roles in the ballet of Khan’s adviser – Vizier.

The spectators of the theater in Kazan were lucky, because they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of the Golden Horde.
