Memo for students and parents for the 1st quarter of the 2020-2021 academic year

Dear parents and students!

In the NJSC “Kazakh National Academy of Choreography” (hereinafter referred to as the Academy), the 1st quarter of the 2020-2021 academic year will be held in a distance format. For students in grades 1-4 duty classes will be organized.

Schedule of lessons

The Academy draws up a schedule of lessons, as well as a training schedule, with which you will be familiarized on August 28, 2020. The schedule of lessons will be posted on the Academy’s Internet resources, as well as communicated to you through the class teachers.

Tutorials

Students living in Nur-Sultan will receive textbooks from class teachers from August 24 to 28 (according to the schedule). Electronic textbooks will be available at the link: https://mhelp.kz/skachat-elektronnye-uchebniki-kazahstan  Also, homeroom teachers will send scanned versions of them by email.

Feedback

Training in duty classes

For students of grades 1-4 living in Nur-Sultan duty classes will be organized. The pass card for entering the Academy will be issued by the homeroom teachers from 24 to 28 August (according to the schedule).

Parents / legal representatives of children, sending their children to study in duty classes, express their understanding and their consent that children will be in a public environment and provide all necessary measures to prevent the risk of contracting coronavirus infection.

The following requirements are established for the functioning of the duty classes:
– lessons will be held strictly according to the approved time;
– parents / legal representatives of children provide the student with sanitary safety equipment: masks, gloves, antiseptic in an individual bottle for treating hands or wet antibacterial wipes;
– parents accompanying students before classes are carried out before entering the building of the Academy and accompanying children by parents after the end of the school day from the front doors of the Academy to the house. Students can enter the Academy from the side of Turkestan and Akmeshit streets (block B of the educational building) by means of personal access cards;
– separate entrance and exit for students;
– one-way traffic in corridors;
– arrangement of training tables – 1 m;
– change between lessons at different times for different classes;
– daily measurement of the temperature of children, if signs of illness are detected, children return home with their parents;
– ensuring the mode of wearing masks;
– ensuring compliance with the classic style of clothing (light top, dark bottom);
– the presence of removable shoes;
– washing hands and using special products after each lesson;
– airing and quartzing of offices;
– wet cleaning of classrooms after every second lesson;
– organization of an isolator;
– the canteen and canteen of the Academy will not function (take a light snack);
– adherence to the drinking regime (children should be provided with personal water bottles);
– children enter the toilet strictly in turn;
– in the classroom, for hygienic reasons, it is forbidden to use other people’s notebooks, sheets of paper, stationery;
– a toilet room is assigned to the class.

Please do not bring your child to the Academy in the following cases:
– contact of a child with a confirmed case of COVID-19;
– with the manifestation of symptoms of acute respiratory diseases. When a COVID-19 case is detected, quarantine is announced and the whole class switches to distance learning.

Learning using distance learning technologies:
– lessons will be held strictly according to the approved time;
– it is necessary to strictly regulate the share of online learning in the structure of distance learning for a student. It is necessary to regulate not only the continuous duration of work with the monitor screen, but also its total duration during the day and week.

In addition, it is also very important to pay close attention to the rational organization of the student’s workplace when implementing distance learning technologies.

Parents (legal representatives) of students need to know that:
– lessons will be held strictly on time (follow the schedule);
– the computer (phone) must be fully charged, take care of this in the evening;
– training is carried out in a place specially designated for training;
– children should be washed, combed, neatly dressed (not in pajamas, dressing gowns, etc.), during specialized subjects, students should be dressed in ballet uniforms in accordance with the requirements of the Academy;
– the room should be perfectly quiet, you need to turn off extraneous sounds. During the lesson, remove other children and pets from the room;
– during the lesson, children should not leave the room, drink, eat, be distracted by extraneous things, leave the online lesson;
– if the teacher asks a question, you can answer by raising your hand;
– the student must clearly follow the instructions of the teacher;
– questions to the teacher can be asked only after the end of the explanation of the lesson, i.e. when the teacher asks about it;
– while explaining the lesson to parents and children, it is prohibited to write to the chat, except in the case when there is no sound and the child cannot hear;
– when answering, the child does not need to get up;
– you can not take pictures, shoot videos and upload the broadcast lesson to social networks without the teacher’s permission;
– parents are strictly prohibited from interfering with the lesson;
– the parent is responsible for the child’s absence from class.

 Parents (legal representatives) of students must:
– create conditions for learning;
– get acquainted with the schedule of work, the schedule of lessons, the process of organizing teaching and educational work;
– monitor the implementation of homework by students;
– liaise with the class teacher and subject teachers. For classes in special disciplines, you must: – the possibility of 2 × 2 meters of free space;
– high-quality internet connection. If necessary, discuss with the educator about the student’s workplace.

Student:
– downloads an available application to your device;
– checks the operation of application tools (microphone, video, screen sharing, etc.);
– gets acquainted with the schedule, topics, content of online lessons through available means of communication;
– before the lesson checks the connection to the platform;
– uses his surname and name, class for registration;
– obliged daily
– view the broadcast of TV lessons according to the schedule, as well as all available electronic platforms indicated by the subject teacher;
– independently performs tasks on a daily basis, including through the available means of communication, which are established by the organization of secondary education;
– is in daily contact with the class teacher and subject teachers;
– works on errors after the comment of the subject teacher;
– daily enters a personal account in an electronic diary, e-mail and other systems, and communication technologies to receive educational material for self-study;
– presents completed assignments on a daily basis in accordance with the requirements of teachers by sending a scan (or photo) of completed assignments to the teacher through available means of communication (electronic diaries, e-mail, WhatsApp chats, etc.);
– observes the rules of academic honesty and the principles of self-control when completing educational assignments; – during the lesson, he uses the platform tools correctly (if necessary: write a message to the teacher or everyone in the chat, turn on video / audio or a presentation, press the buttons: “raise your hand”, “yes / no”, “thumb” and others);
– uses additional electronic educational resources.

We ask parents to be understanding and help their child to master the educational material, the teacher to establish the necessary contact and together achieve the desired results.
