Launch of the Republican front office of volunteers “BIRGEMIZ”

On February 12, 2020, as part of the Year of the Volunteer, the official launch of the BIRGEMIZ Republican Front Office for Volunteers took place in the “Art Hub” pavilion on the territory of “EXPO-2017”. As Rimma Sabaeva, coordinator of the UN Volunteers program in Kazakhstan, noted, the opening of the Republican volunteer front office is very important for every Kazakhstani, because we all have the opportunity to help those who need it, while developing ourselves and building an active citizenship.

The event was attended by Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, who agreed to become Honorary Ambassador of the Volunteer Movement in Kazakhstan.

During the opening of the front office, the work of the online platform Qazvolunteer.kz was presented. and sites in seven industry areas of volunteering. Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, who were registered as volunteers on the Qazvolunteer.kz online platform, are students of the 1st and 2nd courses of the bachelor’s degree in art management, Kenzhetayeva Dana, Alemkul Zhіbek, took part in the launching ceremony of the new consulting center along with students from leading universities of the capital Eseev Nurzhan, as well as a 1st year student of the specialty “Pedagogy of sports ballroom dance” Amre Nursaulet.
