“Bibliosumerki-2019” in the Academy of Choreography
The Academy Library for one evening turned into the site of the annual cultural project “Biblical Twilight”, dedicated to the International Day of School Libraries. A fascinating event was held in support of a large-scale literary process and the promotion of reading, the organization of new formats for leisure activities by library users.
As part of the “biblical twilight”, students of the Academy’s grades 4–8 took part in a cognitive quiz, performed poetry, sang songs, and also cheerfully celebrated Halloween. A colorful and eventful evening with pleasant surprises, of course, ignited the most important thing in children – a spark of love for books.
On this day, several sites worked in the library, such as Literary Jam, Karaoke Battle, Performance and Tales Room. Members of the Full House Club actively participated in the event. Students also celebrated Halloween. As you know, children’s face painting is the key to success of any children’s holiday! Therefore, the makeup artist on the faces of children recreated the images of fairy-tale heroes.
On the Literary Jam site, students answered quiz questions related to riddles and literary works. Children showed a high intellectual level.
A song contest between the teams took place at the Karaoke Battle site. Students sang songs in three languages, demonstrated their musical abilities. At the Performance and Tale Room site, children played scenes from famous fairy tales in English, composed their versions of fairy tales using various souvenirs and toys. At the BookFace and Pazzle Book competitions, students supplemented their images and created puzzles based on book covers.
On Halloween, students entered the images of various fairy-tale characters.
At the end of the event, students were awarded letters of appreciation for their active participation. Madlen Bektemirov was awarded the diploma “Best reader of 2019”.
The event gave the children an unforgettable experience, a sea of joy, delight and laughter.
