Bakhtiyar Adamzhan has received the state scholarship
Principal Dancer of the Astana Opera, the Grand Priх winner of many prestigious international competitions, famous Kazakh ballet dancer Bakhtiyar Adamzhan became a laureate of the state scholarship of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy in culture in 2018.
The principal dancer was awarded the state scholarship of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy for his outstanding achievements in culture in accordance with the Head of State N.А. Nazarbayev’s decree No. 261 of November 13, 2018.
“I have only positive emotions right now. The conditions that have been created in our country for the development of art are bearing fruit today. The high level of Kazakh ballet is recognized in the international arena, our cultural and sports figures achieve amazing results. Performing on the Astana Opera stage and in foreign venues, first and foremost, I always represent our country, my native opera house. I am deeply grateful for the fact that all the efforts that my colleagues and I give to promote Kazakh art are valued and supported at the state level. It makes me happy that even at a very young age our achievements receive encouragement from the government. Such support gives energy, strength and opportunities for new accomplishments, and I want to work even more, set high standards and achieve results,” Bakhtiyar Adamzhan said.
Bakhtiyar Adamzhan is a bright star of international ballet. Local and foreign ballet fans seek out his name on posters of performances and gala concerts, and best European ballet impresarios issue advance invitations to participate in their events, where he invariably performs the final number. Thus, the Principal Dancer of the Astana Opera became the first Kazakh artist to perform in the ballet show of the famous Etoile of the Milanese Teatro alla Scala “Roberto Bolle and Friends”. B. Adamzhan is the first Kazakhstani to dance the part of the Young Man in R. Petit’s famous ballet “Le Jeune Homme et la Mort”. The debut took place in Italy as part of a gala concert dedicated to the memory of Rudolf Nureyev, where he was invited to perform one of the great dancer’s favorite roles. In addition, he is the first Kazakh artist to win the First Prize at the International Ballet Competition and Contest for Choreographers in Moscow and the Grand Prix at the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition in New York, and also the authoritative International Ballet Award Dance Open (“Mister Virtuosity” nomination).
The Principal Dancer of the Astana Opera Bakhtiyar Adamzhan has won many awards. In addition to the abovementioned, the list of his achievements includes the Daryn State Youth Award, the Sakhnager National Theatre Award, the scholarship of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev (2010-2011), Grand Prix at the III International Ballet Competition in Astana (September 16, 2016) and the V Istanbul International Ballet Competition (Turkey, July 8, 2016); First Prize at the XIII Seoul International Dance Competition (Republic of Korea, August 10, 2016), the International Festival of Creative Youth Shabyt (2012), the International Ballet Competition “Orleu” (2010); Second Prize at the International Ballet Competition “Grand Prix of Siberia” (Krasnoyarsk, 2014) and the VII Siberian International Competition of Ballet Schools (Novosibirsk, 2008), etc.
