Astana Ballet Theater through the eyes of critics and spectators

On October 17, 2019.In “Astana Ballet Theater through the eyes of critics and spectators” round table held at the Kazakh national academy of choreography

The aim of the discussion was the definition of Astana Ballet Theater as a social and cultural phenomenon of modern society and the analysis of its artistic activity from the standpoint of the critics and the spectators in the aspect of the integration of Kazakhstani choreographic art in the world cultural process.

Experts of the Round Table were: first vice-rector of the Kazakh national academy of choreography B.Nusipzhanova; Director of Astana Ballet Theater A. Sovostyanov; director on educational work of the Academy of Choreography A. Alisheva; chief choreographer of the Astana Ballet Theater M. Abubahrieva; choreographer of Astana Ballet Theater A.Tati; Professor of the Department of Directing Choreography T. Izim ; Head of the Department of Art and Art Management, Professor G. Zhumaseitova; service PR professionals, marketing and advertising of Astana Ballet Theater B. Orynbaeva, Moderator of the round table was a senior lecturer in art history and art management, ballet critic F. Musina. The discussion was attended by teachers, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of faculties of Arts and Choreography.

During the discussion, the sides discussed issues of development of the national choreography, creative interaction of Theater and the Academy of choreography, repertoire policy of the theater, its recognition in the international arena, geography tour card team, plans and prospects of the young and dynamic ballet country.

The round table was held in the framework of the agreement between Astana Ballet Theater of the Kazakh national academy of choreography, whose main objective is to involve students in the Academy of scientific and creative activity.

The full text of the speakers of the Round Table “Astana Ballet Theater through the eyes of critics and audiences” will be published in a scientific journal Arts Academy and the site of the Kazakh national academy of choreography.

The event was held within the framework of students’ scientific-creative laboratory “Oner lab”, which was organized by the Faculty of Arts.
