Kazakh National Academy of Choreography implements training of specialists in programs of higher and postgraduate education based on credit technology of education, which contributes to ensuring the succession of levels of education, improving the quality of education, academic mobility of students and teachers.
The main task of the credit technology of teaching is to develop students’ abilities for self-organization and self-education based on the choice of an educational project within the frameworks of regulation of educational process using credit as a unique unit for measurement of the volume of educational work of student and teacher.
Current Academic Policy of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography (hereinafter referred to as the Academic Policy) determines the procedure for organization of educational process in the Academy according to credit technology of education for the programs of higher and postgraduate education.
The document includes the policy of the Academy in the field of quality assurance, the policy of admission and formation of the contingent, the main provisions of the organization of the educational process using credit technology, the rules for the development of modular educational programs, the procedure for registering students for academic disciplines and the formation of an individual educational project; rules for the current monitoring of progress, intermediate and final certification of students; organizing the passage of students of all types of practice; rules of transfer, restoration of students; academic integrity rules, etc.
The academic policy is intended for students, teaching staff, heads of structural divisions of the Academy implementing the educational process, and other interested persons.
